We would like to introduce you to the CNV Services Federation.
The CNV Services Federation is the union for employees in the services sector. We look after the interests of employees in various sectors: wholesale and retail business, auctions, graphical and media business, banking and insurance companies, ICT and many other services sectors.
Is the CNV Services Federation the union for me?
We have a lot of experience. The first precursor of the CNV Services Federation was already active in 1894. The past fifteen years we have grown from 12,000 to 36,500 members, and we are steadily growing on. That is logical because more and more women and men choose to have their personal and collective interests looked after by a quality union.
The CNV Services Federation is a member organization of the Confederation CNV, the second largest labour union confederation in The Netherlands. The CNV organizes in total almost 400.000 employees.
What we do for you
Collective: we negotiate Collective Labour Agreements and Social Plans in case of reorganization or mergers. We also represent the employees in numerous boards of Social Security Funds or Training Funds.
Personal: we help you with all sorts of affairs that have to do with work: questions over your employment contract, complying of appointments, the arrangements around discharge, career questions, questions about your pension, et cetera.
Our character
You can count on the CNV Services Federation as being an organization that looks after your interests in a trustworthy way, concerned, fast and with expertise. The CNV Services Federation works from conviction: our inspiration comes forward from the Christian Social Movement that has its roots in the gospel. We stand for solidarity between working people, national as well as international, also the solidarity between working and non-working women and men. We want to emancipate employees by helping them to be employable and flexible. In situations of conflicts, our basic principle is that we want to solve the problem by negotiation.

As a member you will receive current information over your own sector and business. Via direct mailings our members will always be first informed about the current developments of negotiations. In our magazine 'Akkoord', you can read current news as well as background information. On our website, you can consult the current news as well and make use of the archive messages. On your own account on the website you will find as a member, news about your own sector, branch or company.
